Description
New expressions of ancient forms. “As a female designer, I am inspired by craft traditions of women from around the world,” says Beatriz Ball. “This new collection honors the intricate baskets woven by the Tonga women of Africa. Exquisitely rendered in sand-cast metal, dishwasher-safe with beautiful finishes, stunning on the table, or as wall hangings.”
Beatriz Ball extends the innovative SIERRA MODERN Collection–featuring iconic designs in modern new metallic finishes of Gold, Rose Gold and Gunmetal–with a line of African Basket bowls, each offered in four sizes. Dishwasher-safe, decorative, and also perfect for serving, they add a modern new dimension to Beatriz Ball’s award-winning designs. The SIERRA MODERN African Basket Small Bowl (Rose Gold) is as practical as it is beautiful. With a lively rose gold surface featuring a geometric basketweave design, the bowl sits upon a built-in square base with a discreet perforation allowing it to be wired for hanging.
The eye-catching bowl looks great anywhere and is the perfect size for snacks and nuts. Dishwasher safe, pieces will not chip, peel or stain. Beatriz Ball’s intensely handmade products use eco-friendly and sustainable materials and are crafted by artisans who trace a heritage of metalworking for generations. Made of a top quality, FDA safe, easy-care aluminum alloy.
