Description
In his first collaboration with Maison Berger Paris, acclaimed French designer Philippe Starck has reconsidered the laboratory flask as a decorative object. The singular design of the Starck Pink Lamp appropriates and reinterprets the unmistakable shape of laboratory glassware, with an exaggerated flared base tapering to a narrow neck. Playing on the scientific inspiration, the detail in the finely worked metal cap evokes molecular movement.
The refined transparent glass body is a soft pink in the emblematic shade associated with Starck’s popular Peau de Soie body perfume. Initially conceived by perfumer Dominique Ropion, Peau de Soie has been reinterpreted for the home exclusively by Maison Berger Paris. In an interplay of powdery, floral, and musky notes, cool, smooth marble is transformed into warm skin, light and soft as silk.
